Who doesn’t want more storage? I looked up some various ideas for garage storage shelves and landed on this general design. I designed them to be as tall as possible without interfering with the garage door opening or closing. I routed some grooves in some sections of 2×4’s to allow the 1/4″ plywood doors to slide and allow access. All framing was anchored to studs in the garage walls. I used some fur strips (can’t remember what it was called) to prevent saw dust from getting in through the gaps in the doors.
